BBC announces Grange Hill will end



The BBC has announced that its school day drama 'Grange Hill' is to end later 30 years.
At a launch for freshly and recurring dramas for CBBC today, it was announced the upcoming series of 'Grange Hill' would be the close.
Announcing the end of 'Grange Hill', Anne Gilchrist, Control, CBBC, said: "Portion of CBBC's reputation for reflecting coeval UK back to UK children has been built upon Phil Redmond's ['Grange Hill' godhead] brightly realised idea and of course it's sad to aver good-by to such a much loved asylum. The lives of children take changed a great deal since 'Grange Hill' began and we owe it to our hearing to reflect this."
She continued: "We're actively quest out fresh and exciting slipway of bringing sociable reality to the CBBC interview through drama and other genres. Yesterday we announced iI 'Newsround' Specials tackling dissociate and knife crime and we will retain to make programmes about the ups and downs of coeval United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland."
