Choice Music Prize shortlist announced
The short list for the Alternative Euphony Prize: Irish Gaelic Album of the Year 2007 has been announced.
Delorentos, Cathy Davey and The Flaws altogether feature amongst the nominees, ashcan School of whom have released their albums independently.
The other heptad nominees are Adrian Crowley, Dry County, St. David Geraghty, Kila, Roisin White potato, Stanley Superintendent 800 and Superintendent Extra Incentive Party.
The short list was selected by a panel of 12 Irish music media professionals and the boilersuit succeeder will be chosen by this panel at the Pick Music Prize event at Vicar Street, Capital of Ireland on 27 February.
